Online Teaching Certification Course

Designed for instructors with limited online experience, this free online non-credit course consists of a series of stand-alone, self-paced modules that cover the essential elements of successful online instruction.

The course presents the seven principles of good practice and shows you how to implement them. Another module focuses on appropriate use of technology and how to implement it into your pedagogy, and the course concludes with an examination of efficient classroom administration. After reviewing the materials and completing the assessments, you'll receive your certification of instructional effectiveness!

Becoming Certificated:

To receive the Teaching Online Certification associated with this course you'll need to complete an assessment for each module. In order to access the assessments please register online for the course. Once you have registered for the course you’ll receive an email providing the instructions for accessing and completing the assessments.
