Teaching Fellows Application

Individuals interested in applying for a teaching fellowship must complete the application form detailing a proposed work plan and clearly articulating how their work will benefit teaching and learning, broadly, at WSU. Work plans should address the responsibilities envisioned as a part of this program. Teaching fellowship proposals may request up to $20,000/year and faculty may apply for one year. Fellowships may be extended a second year with sufficient progress occurring year one. Overhead or facilities/administrative costs do not apply. Proposal budgets will need to include personnel benefit costs if faculty or staff salary is included. Work plans and budgets must have the approval of the Department Chair and College Dean.

Applications were due May 12. Awardees were notified in early July.

Deliverables and Outcomes of the Teaching Fellowships include:

  • Enhanced impact that can scale up across courses, disciplines and campuses.

And/or
