The WSU Teaching Academy is pleased to welcome all instructors – faculty, staff, and graduate students – to this year’s TEACHxWSU conference!

The theme of this year’s conference is infusing kindness in higher education.

Kick off the day with a keynote by Dr. Shameem Rakha. Dr. Rakha is a faculty member in the Department of Teaching and Learning in the College of Education and the coordinator of the B.A. in Education program. She has 30 years of teaching experience spanning the K – higher education arc. Dr. Rakah is also a member of the WSU Teaching Academy. Her session, “A Space to Thrive: Daring to Create Learning Communities Grounded in an Ethic of Care,” will generate new ideas and practical strategies you can implement right away.

In the afternoon, join workshops and presentations led by WSU faculty, covering a range of topics centered around kindness in higher education.
